Hi,

Does anyone know what kind of toggle switch is used for the HP / LP function on the Fulltone OCD pedal? The switch on mine broke and I'm trying to replace it but I don't know the part number or exactly what kind of switch it is.

Thanks.

Clones would typically use an SPST on-off or SPDT on-on. You'd need to use only one side of the SPDT, so either switch type would work.

Thanks, but I was trying to find the exact part and not just something similar.

For posterity in case anyone else comes across this post looking for the same part, I ended up taking the pedal apart to find out what it's called.

The part is a Salecom T80-T Mini Toggle Switch.

T80-T is the switch series. The model number will be something else: http://www.salecom.com/en/category/Toggle-Switches_T80-T.html but none of those look . It might be stamped somewhere else on the switch. My guess would be T8013-S35 or T8013-S40: http://www.salecom.com/en/product/Toggle-Switches/t8013-s35.html. If the number isn't on the switch, you'll have to measure the height of the switch body to determine whether it's an S35 or S40.

the last time I bought a switch from jaycar (our local parts house, now 2.95AUD), it was a salecom T80-T spdt. I still have it here. there is NOTHING special about that part. if you wanted a decent replacement part, find/use a C&K 7101. if you don't care about the quality, use the spdt equivalent from tadya. the salecom quality is a step above the tayda, but nothing special. smallbear will have at least as good.
don't make me draw another line.

Good points - especially if the existing switch has failed prematurely.

When I look at gut shots of OCDs on the web, it looks like the switch is a PCB mounted DPDT with a non-threaded bushing (and a short toggle). So ignore my original guess about the switch model number. Make sure the new switch's body height is the same and its bushing fits through the enclosure. Pin spacing is probably not going be different, but check it anyway.
