The material lists for the Arcadia Electronics tremolo, C1, C2, C3,C4, C5, C8 & C9 call for a "Semiconductor SIM model" capacitor, can seem to figure out what that is. Can anyone tell me what that is?

No clue, and a link to the document you are referring to would help

No idea either.  Use film caps (assuming the spacing is OK).

Looks like the "improve EA tremolo" circuit, type of capacitor won't matter: I'd suggest box caps (maybe a multilayer ceramic for the 470n and 1u which might be a bit large for the layout).

Thanks, that's what I was going to do, but wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something

If you need poly caps in the 470nF and 1uF positions, check out WIMA 50 volt- they are remarkably smaller.
