Baxandall EQ with Semi-Parametric Mids

Hi, I came across this schematic to what looks to be a baxandall tone stack with sweepable mids. I wondering if anyone has had any success with this schematic. Also can I run it at +17v/-17v? The max voltage for the NE5532 is 22v so I assume it is ok, but I am just checking. Thanks

Input impedance is to low for guitar, you'll need a buffer.

abs(17) < abs(22) all ok

Also,  add a pinch of salt to every circuit you find on the web...

I have a feeling C2 and C3 supposed to be 56n.
(with 47n it's close to the BB preamp)

Technically R10 should be an antilog pot.

If you use a log pot you will have to wire the pot so the frequencies are reversed, ie. clockwise = high freq, otherwise it will be unusable.

^ That's fully parametric mids control. Semi-parametric doesn't have the Q knob.

+/- 17v should be fine as long as it's regulated.
