My go-to 5V DPDT latching relay has been the Omron G6HU-2. I used to get it at a great price from electronic goldmine. To save me some sourcing research and datasheet deep dive, can anyone recommend a still in production / available relay? Any good sources for discounted pricing? Thanks!

The Panasonic TQ2-L2-5V is the "on-brand" version that's most readily available. OnlineComponents has them significantly cheaper than anywhere else:

I'd recommend the Takamisawa AL5WN-K - it's functionally identical and even cheaper. I've used them with great results. Ebay is pretty much the only way to get them in the USA/Europe as the standard suppliers don't carry them, but from what I heard, Takamisawa is just an imprint of Fujitsu - so it's also "on brand" (i.e. not cheap Alibaba garbage).

Thanks. I was able to get the Omron for 1.00 - 1.50$ previously, but probably because it was discontinued and suppliers were clearing stocks. Thanks for the links for alternatives.

The price drops pretty sharply on the Takamisawa ones - you can get the lot of 20 for $38. They upped their prices a bit though. Two years ago the lot of 20 was only $31, so a lot closer to Omron prices.

I feel you, though - I used those Omrons from Goldmine all the time and was bummed when they went out of stock. I think they're gone for good.
