Waterslide + mouser painted 1590B?

Hey folks,

Trying different finishing techniques.
I've got three small projects (centaur clone, fuzz factory clone, bbe sonic stomp clone) that i plan to use waterslide decals with.

Has anyone used these on Mouser's painted enclosures? Is there any special surface prep to help the decal stick to the painted aluminum? (Other than cleaning)

Online tutorials do a good job of showing me how to apply, just wondering if the Mouser boxes present any specific challenge to decal success.
