Hello everyone and happy new year.

I am new here and I am sorry if i started my topic in the wrong place.

I have a Logitech Guitar for Guitar Hero on PS3, and I lost the receiver that came with it. Logitech does not sell the receiver alone, and it will cost more than 200 dollars to buy another one.

Is there anyway that I can make it work with a DIY receiver?

Thank you for your kind support and best regards.

^ What he said, ha ha!

But for a serious answer...it would be very hard to make a receiver for that, bud.  You'd have to know quite a bit about how the 'guitar' works - what signals it sends out.  And build a receiver that not only would pick up the signal and eliminate any noise and crap that got sent along/picked up, but it would also have to DECODE the signal.

Many (most) of this type of circuit sends out pulses, sort of "20 pulses in 1 sec = this note hit, 45 pulses in 1 sec = the other note..".   The odds of an inexperienced DIY'er figuring this all out...would cost way more than $200 in your time.

BUT - you'd know a LOT about DIY electronics, and then you could come back and help US!  :)

Sorry...Good luck with the Logitech...
