LED always on?

What would cause the LED to turn on, the minute a battery is plugged in (even when there is nothing in the input/ouput jacks)? 



Using the general guitar gadgets instructions and layout for the Big Muff Pi (ram mod). Measurements will be in this post soon... still taking them.

It means you have a short somewhere that allows the circuit to complete. A link to the wiring guide is helpful. I'm guessing they have you switch ground, might want to start with the switch. Make sure there is not continuity between the anode of the LED to ground when the switch is in the off setting.

Could also have the anode grounded against the case.

You can host it elsewhere, such as photobucket or imgur, then post the address between [img ] [/img ] tags, without the space.
