Madbean's new current lover problem-SOLVED

Anyone built the new 1 yet?
The madbean forum seems to be down...again!

My problem is R42--22ohm, when power is connected up it starts to burn out? should i try a 1/2W instead of the 1/4W orr is there something else going on?

do you have a reverse protection diode on your build? if so, check, check, and check again that it is the right way around. it sounds like you have a short of some description, drawing excessive current.

my LM324 was wrong way around, all working now
