Are you putting the black DMM lead to ground and the red on the legs of the transistor when measuring the transistor legs with the DMM (digital multimeter)
I know it sounds silly but.

You need to check
Looking at the componant side of the board
The right hand lead of R5
The left hand lead of R3
And the wire marked G3
With again the black DMM lead to ground. Red DMM lead to the above spots.

If your not getting any voltages there then I suggest your trace might be bad on the 9v somewhere
Between R4 and the drain.
I could be wrong.

Heres a thread about another Super hard on thats not working. On page 2 Lucifer trips gives the transistor voltages from a working unit

Hi Kipper,

It bipped where it should have for everything you had me check.

I can't seem to get a voltage reading on the transistor though. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

If you mean that it "beeped", then your meter is set for continuity. Make sure it is set for DC volts.
