Does anyone know what the differences between the zeta drive and the DOD250 are?

Also how would I go about taking a DOD 250 layout and make it sound and feel more like the zeta drive.   I'd really appreciate any help and thanks to anyone who takes the time to give me there advice

Just gave it a listen.  Given the regularly made points in the demos about it having some compression and sag, and a smoother tone, I gather that means that:
a) if there are any clipping diodes used, they are placed in the feedback path rather than going to ground as in the 250;
b) any diodes used (and again I'm guessing - it could be an all-JFET thing for all I know) are probably more than a mere 2 1N914s;
c) given the tone control, there are probably two gain stages included, rather than the one, found in the 250.
