Please Help me Figure Out how this Pot is connected to ground!

I'm building the Fuzzhugger Algal Bloom posted on Tagboard. http://tagboardeffects.blogspot.com/2016/02/fuzzhugger-algal-bloom.html

I had it working fine on a breadboard but I'm having problems with the "Bloom" pot. Schematic.

As you can see in the schem the #3 for Bloom connects to the other end of the output cap of Q1, but when I turn the pot clockwise instead of it getting louder it starts connecting to ground! I've been staring at this thing all day and I don't get it.

You'll see from the photos I had to rearrange a couple component solder points, but nothing that should be causing this kind of issue.

EDIT: Maybe I just needed to type it out, but I think I figured out what to look for and I found a dubious connection I'll fix up when I get home. Let's see if anyone else can figure it out from the photos. Here's a hint: If Bloom 3 is connecting to ground when it's turned up, and Bloom 3 is completely isolated, where is the ground connection coming from...?

When the knob on the pot is facing you (and the pins are pointing downwards), the leftt pin is number 1, the right pin is number 3. Ground (blue wire?) should therefore be moved to the other side of the pot, replacing where the green wire is now. Green should be connected where blue is. The yellow wire on pin 2 (if I am not mistaken, kind of hard to see these connections on your picture) is in the right place,

You ready for the answer?

I was thinking "Why is this lug only showing a ground connection when I turn it up?", then I started thinking about how pots work... <head slap> I checked the #2 lug and sure enough that was grounded 100% of the time, so I started following those connections instead. You can see a solder bridge in the bottom right. Fixed that up and it sounds great.
