I'm happy with DeadAstronaut's "Chasm Reverb"

If you want something with a bit of delay too, check out Sam Hays' "Space Time Reverb"

Or just search this site, there are many reverb schematics in it.

+1 on the Chasm. Deadastronaut offers a very nice pcb if you don't want to make your own.

Definitely consider the 1776effect Rub-A-Dub Deluxe Reverb! I just finished mine, and its pretty luscious! I love it!

I have to replace the dual pot of a Rub-a-Dub Deluxe Reverb first to puti into the box. I used a 250k as suggest in the layout I found, but I get an oscillation if I set the decay over the half. Use a 100k stock.
Anyway, it sounds fine. And it is very simple.

I'm a big fan of GGG's d-verb. Pretty simple build, great sound, and functions just like the reverb knob of an amp.

Kipper4

All Star reverb works for me (belton brick). Maybe one day I'll be brave enough to tackle the Chasm.
You don't say if you want a pt2399 style or belton brick or real reverb tank.
It's hard to make recommendations.

Thanks for the replies, I'm going with the chasm for this one, see how it goes  :)

Don't forget my Equinox reverb, he said sheepishly....

I've been building a small guitar amp, and have left a panel hole for a single reverb level control. I'm still undecided what that reverb could be, but Merlins Equinox is a front runner. I do have an idea of using an AT Mega328 for a 3 tap delay - each tap corresponding to the delays of an Accutronics 3 spring tank. It ought to have a much lower component count than 2 or 3 PT2399's. But I have to do it of course.

Merlin, did you try adding a Belton style "spring shimmer" LFO to one of the Equinox's delays? Did you try any of the Accutronics spring delay times?
