To be blunt-- this is not "new". All of this has been covered over and over and over again. Every Jr Prof wrote a Basic Transistors book to get tenure. (Some better than others.) Why should we re-type the works of the Greats for you?

Gronner is not bad, and now free. Read Chap 4. Note that he sets-up some plans which just won't work in a real world, so he can later show the techniques to self-compensate for temperature, leakage, and beta changes.

Malvino is more accessible. He kept "improving" his book, adding new stuff, pushing-out the simple basic stuff we are interested in. Get this title. It will cost a few bucks but is more than worth it. ABE.com is a good source. Today they show 7 copies under $4.

Fundamentals of Analog Circuits (Floyd, Buchla, 2nd Edition 2007) is not bad. Try Chap 3.
