I recently read something about making a jig for testing transistors........that is all good and fine.....can someone point me to some articles about what I am looking for when testing transistors with the dmm jig.....been a long time since I have used my electronics education to do b 8) oard type work...LMAO

I use mine DMm [40$] to test npn's but havent had much luck with other types [havent tried that much.
At GEO you see transistor testing ckts. and info about FF transistor gains, Jfet matching...
Gor a Fuzz Face to work 'right' [acertain way] the transistors will each have to be in a certain gain range. I like lower gain in Q1 socket.
Some phazors wont' work without a matched Jfet set.
Convention creates following, following creates convention.
