For any UK germaniacs, the Peak Atlas DCA55 is currently £19.99 at Maplin.

Suspect it to be a misprice (particularly as its not advertised as a special offer) but I ordered one on Saturday as a present for a friend and it arrived this morning. Free postage too!

I love these things - makes building with NOS transistors sooooo much easier - it's an essential bit of kit for me.

Ma throats as dry as an overcooked kipper.

Smoke me a Kipper. I'll be back for breakfast.

Thanks - that was a little too difficult to say no to.

I can't find any shipping information to Germany.... Doesn't seem so. Damn.

But.... would somebody of you - who orders one anyway - get me one too and send it on to Germany? Paypal would work...

That would be terrific.

Cheers JustinFun for the link,  I have been wanting to get one of the better models but couldn't resist giving this one a try at that price. Shame it doesn't do much for Jfets tho.

Mine arrived yesterday. Better than the £2.99 Chinese eBay job I was using :)

Ohm's Law - much like Coles Law, but with less cabbage...

I got mine the other day, for £20 it is a decent transistor tester, it does nothing for Jfets other than tell you which pin is the gate. I think £20 is a good price for what it does.
