Was going to buy a trim pot with the new 3080, but they didin't have  2k in right now. I'll try to get one somewhere else. I'll get back when I've tried these possible solutions!

Changed to the new CA3080 today. Now the pedal now works great so the other 3080 was clearly a fake.

Sure! I had to put in a power filter to get rid of a high frequency noise though. I made this after finishing the pedal and the power filter will also make the voltages different from the ones I measured before. The power filter is one 100uF cap and a 150 ohm resistor. My power supply is at 9.10V and after the power filter it's reduced to 8.07V.
