Lazy arse fet matching

Because I have some left over perfboard that this would probabaly fit on.
Is there any point in building a phase staged based tester for fets ?
Say I use a buffer for input followed by a phaser stage (similar to Bens V45 seen here post 26)

Seeing that you have a surplus opamp (2x 072 ??), with it you could make a VB buffer - or a direct/phased signal mixer/summer (but is the latter really necessary in the context of a diagnosting/testing tool). Or a headphone out for night-time testing.
