I have a Boss blues driver that I've had for about 6 years that stopped working about 2 years ago. I set it aside for awhile and now I'm ready to tackle it.
When I plug it in I get no sound when it is off and when I turn it on the od is extremely quiet, even with the volume and gain turned up. I've changed guitars, checked chords and changed amps. The battery is still good too. Any suggestions? I can post pictures if that would help.
Thanks!

Hi and welcome.
Heres a good place to start.

Post up your voltages please.
I think it should be something like the one on page 6 here

So I'm still stuck. I picked up a multimeter and have been trying to figure out how to test the pcb and components. That layout that was posted is different from the one in my bd-2. The capacitors are labeled differently and it seems to be missing some things. Sorry that I am so inept with these things.

The layout of the actual BOSS board will differ from the layout of the clone. The BOSS schem can be found here:

Beyond documenting voltages, I would look up how to create an audio probe and do my best to figure out where the signal is getting lost.
