Hi all. I made anchovie's Noise Ensemble - http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=87493.0
It's a great circuit! But I've made a few modifications to it. Here's my latest design as it stands:

As you can see, I've added a 'trails control and removed the 47k resistor (R3 on the original schem) which gives you control over how many repeats you can get. I also use a 1M pot for volume. I have a few questions though as I would like to make some modifications to it.

1. The input stage is set up as a comparator. I find I have to play my guitar very hard to get the pedal to make a sound. Is there anyway to change the sensitivity? So it doesn't gate quite so heavily? At the moment I have to really hit the strings, and anything gentle doesn't come through.
2. In the original thread someone mentioned adding a capacitor somewhere in the circuit to make it less 'spluttery' as the signal fades out. Does anyone know where this would go?
3. Someone else who built this mentioned they put a momentary switch in series with a high value (I think 1M) in there to get it to repeat infinitely. Where should this go?

Thanks!

Hey BluffChill,

Did you find the answers you were looking for in this effect?  i really like this Noise Ensemble design, but i think your mods would make it even better.  Let me know if you ever came up with a final layout with the mods you mention above.

Thanks!!
