Please can someone help me explain what does that think is use for?
what did the transistor do and what is the purpose of the 9,1v zener?
did it has a good affect for the pedal?
Thanks

The 9V1 Zener (with 1k limiting resistor and 10μF cap) sets/stabilizes the base voltage of Q6 so its Emitter stands at about 600mV lower than its Base..
(if 9V DC In fluctates over 9V1, which is Zener's breakdown voltage, is "held" constant to about 8.5V on Q6 Emitter..)

This, in turn, sets a stable voltage for Vcc and Vbb..

Q6 is used as current pass transistor with "steady" voltage..

You may omit 1k Resistor + Zener + Q6 + 10μF cap + 22μF cap and replace 470nF cap with a 100nF ceramic under your own risk.. :icon_biggrin:

P.S.1
No intention to under-estimate you but your only query to the whole circuit is limited to this humble Zener/BJT regulator..??

P.S.2
Wellcome... :icon_wink:
