I recently stumbled upon the Space Station and would love to own one, but it seems the only way to acquire one for a reasonable price is by modding an XP100. Is there anyone here who offers this service, and if so, at what cost?

Thanks in advance!

According to this page it can't be done:

Other pedals in the series, yes, but XP100, no. I can't vouch for it - I read it on the internetz.

Ok, I stand corrected. These people on eBay claim to be able to do it, but describe it as "notably labor intensive". So it's possible, but involves considerably more tweaks than the others, presumably.

It can be done. There are two versions of XP100; one with the code on an 27C256 EPROM, and the other version carries it on another chip (sorry, the chip number escapes me right now).

Either way, you can mod the 100 into a 300. There's a lengthy thread on it in the DSP section of the forum.

Yes, compared to the 200 or 400, it is a bit more work to convert a 100 to a 300, but not "impossible".
