Drain and Source exchangeble

Hi Everybody,

seems like most or all Jfets have an exchangable Drain and Source.
I did try with 3 different ones (2N5457, J201, MPF102), and exchanging the Drain and Source did only very, very marginally change the CutOff (less than a 10th of a volt).
Also the Bias or drain voltage (10K Drain Resitance / 1,5K Source Resistance, on 9v, Gate grounded with 1M) did not change noticably exchanging them.
Can I assume that this true for all Jfets?
From theory that makes sense (because of the symetric built), just want to make sure!

Yup. As usually noted in the datasheet.
