Side Effect FZ-1 Inexpensive Fuzz Face clone from Ebay
« on: April 20, 2017, 10:25:36 AM »
Hey I am thinking of ordering one of these as a first project: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Diy-Guitar-Effect-Pedal-Fuzz-PCB-Transistor-Capacitor-Resistor/252234984581?_trksid=p2047675.c100011.m1850&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D40130%26meid%3D5b0d20457d004b87926f24d6072837c2%26pid%3D100011%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D262314961740

I was wondering if anyone has had experience with these before? If so how do they sound? and are there any components that should be swapped?

Govier966, welcome to the forum.

I have no experience with that supplier. however, we have an endless stream of people having problems with "stuff from ebay". you would do well to have a look at small bear's website, as he has plenty of beginners projects, with step by step how-to's, AND he comes in here and helps with problems. you can get everything you want, at alice's restaurant small bear.

and I am not affiliated.
