Aion Helios (rat) issues

Hi guys, been reading on here quite a bit and finally made an actual account. Excited to be hear. Anyways, I built a rat on an aion Helios pcb. Thought I did a pretty good job with soldering everything in, but I'm having weird issues. It plays fine when the pedal is off, and when it's on I do get some distortion; but it kinda either farts out, or is drowned out by feedback something is telling me that it might be an issue with the transistor. Does anyone know what the voltages on the 2n5457 should be? I'll include a screen cap of the schematic they give with it.
