I'd like to be able to push one footswitch to turn on my Big Muff and activate the footswitch on my "Donner Deluxe Looper" at the same time. For instance, i'll be recording a loop and i'll want to stop recording (causing it to repeat, of course), and simultaneously turn on the Big Muff Pi. I've seen J Mascis do this live in youtube videos. He uses an expensive loop junky pedal, but i don't think it has any external footswitch capabilities. Could i wire another switch to both respective switches and still be able to use the original ones? I have no idea.

Are you willing to do surgery on the BMP and looper?

It may not be so bad -- if the BMP has a 2-pole 2-throw switch, you could swap in a 3-pole 2-throw which in turn would be wired to a jack that you would connect via patch cord to the looper, which in turn would have a jack that accepts the switching from the BMP, internally wired to it's own switching in a clever way. Details may have to be worked out. Does that make sense, so far?

PS -- Welcome aboard. We do great things here.
