Hi guys,

I've been away for too long. Had to finish my exams and what not, but now again I've got something to share with you guys (and girls?). It's a tremolo kind of pedal, but not really. Very simple design, but to me it sounds pretty cool. You can find the audiosample here:

Also, here is the Vero layout. Sorry no schematic, yet, but should be very easy to figure out.

Small update: 0,47uF is 47uF.  ;) Fixed

BTW. I've only been using a 9v battery. No 'ticking problems' yet

The sound you have from 1.35 or so sounds great - but is the pedal on the background chord sound only? I assume the picking guitar is a separate track mixed on top, yes? Do you know what capacitor you used for that section? Thanks for posting the vero layout, that's so simple I could build it... now I just need to find a source to those chips, they seem remarkably expensive in the UK - are they obscure / rare? Maybe I'll just buy the lm567 chip instead, they are much more affordable. Hmmm it looks like pins 5 and 6 on the LM567 are swapped compared to the ka567. Thanks again :)

The KA567 is made by Samsung. Its the type i get with my local orders. Others like LM or NE should work as well. Im not aware of any different pinouts. The cap size makes the sound (re)appear with different intervals. The depth blends in the normal guitar sound (should have called it blend) If you set it for tremolo only its very choppy and not always useful. The blending in of natural sounds gives its character and weirdness. The last part of the demo is like 35 percent clean signal. It is indeed two different parts. 1uf gives the fastest tempo. I havent tried 0.47uf yet. 47uf and 22uf is very slow but makes a kind of drone if you just filter in a little bit of tremolo.

Hope this answers your questions. I would put in a rotary with your ten favorite caps.

Thanks very much, once I get paid I'll try this - it's a lovely small thing that could be squeezed into something small with a fuzz circuit to make some different sounds :)
