I want my Fuzz Face oscillation back!

Hi all,
I breadboarded a NPN Fuzz Face, and got it sounding how I wanted: nice fuzz tone, with the added bonus that it went into oscillation when the guitars volume pot was turned down, and the pitch could be controlled. Perfect! Just how I wanted it.

I then took a bit of Vero, and the very same components from the breadboard, and put it together.
It sounds great, but it no longer has the cool oscillation!  :-\

Putting it off the breadboard and onto Vero has probably made the circuit more reliable - but how can I get  my oscillation back??

Is it as simple as connecting the OUTPUT back to the INPUT?
Maybe with some sort of resistor/pot and cap?
I'll try it in the morning...

To you, buffered bypass sucks tone.
To me, it sucks my balls.

a ground lift tends to give you a fantastic signal generator, which is "playable" with your guitar controls, have wasted time myself this way :)
