Hey everyone...making my towards my first PCB etch attempt but I am running into roadblocks from the get go...I am using a pretty outdated Mac (might be my main problem)

1) I tried to install DIYLC but for some reason it keeps saying that the file is dmg'd and my only option is to send to the trash. Anyone have this problem?

2) Eagle is not compatible with my version of OS X ( I have 10.9.5 and it needs 10.10 or later). Any way I can download an earlier version to run?

3) Fritzing is compatible with my computer but I am having issues with the size/availability of components and I am unsure if there are additional libraries I can download to make populating a board easier and more accurate. With some of the sizes on the components my board will end up being 12" x 12" it seems.

Any other options or solutions are welcomed. Thanks in advance.

Thanks! I will have to try that out. I decided to try DipTrace and find it suits my needs at the moment but I will definitely take another look at DIYLC
