Is there a quick and dirty trick in some software (say Inkscape) to make your images (absolute) black and white?  Or to force the black to be more black?

You may be able to adjust your printer configuration to increase print density and turn off economy mode, if it exists.  Will vary from printer to printer.

I found print density in the drivers settings.  Thanks!!
