Hello everyone,

Just curious if anyone has come across a DIY design similar to the sample and hold function on the EHX canyon?

I have done some searches on this forum and found things of the like:
- Mark Hammer's extensive insights on gates in the CE-1 and how they may implemented in the PT80.
- gjengangar which seems to be the answer, but the finished fully functional schematic was never discussed.  Rather how success was realized.

One interesting aspect of the canyon is that once the gate is triggered, the old delay signal is overwritten.

Is this possible with a PT2399 based circuit, where you would have two gates tied to the same threshold?  Say before the delay inlet, a gate is triggered allowing signal to pass into the delay while simultaneously signaling a gate on the repeats portion of the PT2399 to "forget" its previous sample.

Please share any insight or helpful links you may have!

Thank you,
Daniel
