I was wondering if you could assist......

I've got 1 AC128, around 80 Hfe, and about 198 D9E russian germanium diodes....

What could I build with that?
I've got some surplus from stocks ordered for a fuzz face and klon build.

Also got some 2N3096, a few TL074s, TL072s, assorted resistors, capacitors, diodes, Transistors if that helps.....

Any interesting build that spring to your mind?

Beside the Klon, anything that uses D9E?

You could do an Electra-style single transistor overdrive with the AC128, and you could try the D9E's for clipping? ;D

Thank you.

Had a brief look, it looks like there are lots of variants on that circuit. I'll investigate.

Been reading that the D9E are similar to 1N34a. Perhaps smoother clipping from what I read.

In any case, if that is the case, that'll open a lot of doors in terms of build types I expect??

I'm pretty much a noob really (could you tell???), so any recommendations are welcome.

Just bought a breadboard, so I'll probably try out circu8t recommendations at some point!!!
