I just finished breadboarding a simple ring modulator that uses the am input on the xr2206. I still have a couple extra xr2206s kicking around and I thought it would really fun to use one of them for an Lfo. The only problem is I can't figure out how to modulate the frequency of the xr2206 properly. Does anyone have any ideas on how to achieve this?

I think there's a schematic around for the Echo Dream 2, which uses an XR2206 for the modulation.   Might be worth looking at :)

Catalinbread pareidolia tremolo uses same ic too

A potentiometer (resistance) connected pin 7 to ground changes the frequency.

Look up XR-2207 function generator for reference.
I just designed a new fuzz circuit! It almost sounds a little different than the last fifty fuzz circuits I designed! ;)

You can input a voltage (max 3V I believe) into pin 7 or 8 (depending on pin 9 level)  too..

Thank you that's exactly the information I wanted. I'll try it out and get back to y'all
