Hi guys

I just came across this project http://moosapotamus.net/paralooper.html and I found out that I could use it to blend a flanger effect with the clean signal of the guitar, since this flanger pedal doesn't have a blend control and it doesn't sound just right for me without it. The Paralooper is intended for bass guitar, as is stated in the project description: "...it will 'Bassify' any bottom sucking, high-passing guitar pedal out there.".

So my question is: what mods should I do to make it sound right for guitar? capacitor value change maybe? Which cap values?

Thanks!

Hi,

I think it will work as is for guitars.

The original effect he based the paralooper on has an adjustable high cut filter on the clean side. I can't see that in the paralooper layout, but if it is there, you may want to omit it.

Here is a link for another blender. You can simply hardwire onde of the channels to make a clean blend:

Thanks Marcelo. The Splitter Blend looks much better due to the phase inverter switch, and hardwire one channel to obtain the clean sound is a good idea. I think I'll do the  Splitter Blend.
