Hello,

I received yesterday a non working Boss NS 2 , I fixed it today (transistor, a diode and the 100 uF cap ) and make a slight modification to reduce the decay (by by-passing R29) , it work really fine now , as fast as an ISP. I would like to know if someone knows what C19 is doing, I see a guy making the same mod as I do for R29 on youtube , plus swapping C19 for 22nf or something like that.

Thanks

PRR

It's the hold cap, so it doesn't cut gain the instant the signal stops.

4.7uFd to 22nFd is a *very* radical change. Try it. I don't think you will like it. (So don't muck it up.)

Ok , thanks,

I understand the guy showed the result of this mod with staccato / djent riff,
It shoud not sound well on other applications.
