An optical phaser/Vibe in the style of a P90.

Of course you can use a dual TL072 and make a P45.

Really cool, and tremolo too! I'm working on a modulation thing right now, and looking forward to making a similar stuff with a pic for digital lfo/tap, and i feel like generally nova days it is hard to ignore digital lfo's, since they seem to solve most problems you may have with analog.

I don't know how it happens, but magically such limited-access videos eventually turn into accessible ones.  Pretty well every video I've ever posted there initially had one of those html5 messages, and then without me lifting a finger it was eventually visible within a day or so.  Go figure.

This phaser is inspiring me to play guitar more. Before I know it 3/4 hr has passed.
There's lots of great sounds.
The surprising thing is even the random patterns have potential.

Heres the P45 version
less parts than the 90. Less knobs, optional tap tempo, should fit nicely in a 1590B.
I'll probably do a diylc layout.

Incidentally, Rich, you may want to take a look at this recent unit, which seems to be using a PC of some sort, though not necessarily the TAPLFO.

kipper - if IC4B is output to ground, C8 should move to between output and pot. no need for the missing pull-down then, either.

Well spotted guys. Those have been changed. op amp type and output cap position>

Also I changed the input cap values to some 10's of nano else the the bass is too resonant.
I'll do a p45 demo. Nice resonant peaks to make you puke.

I made a layout for the p45 version that is verified. Shout up If you want that.

Also since I still have the breadboard version running I thought I'd put the perfboard build in series with the breadboard version.
Some very nice sounds because I'm using sepertate lfo for the two p45's, there are lots of sonic possibiltys lush leslie'ish to ring mod on acid.
The wet dry pot is a must to dial in and out the tone/level.

I'm waiting on some plastic top momentarys from china that will have to be positioned in the layout to avoid the users temptation to foot tap it (hands only). I want to box it in a 1590b.
