Hey, I was trying to order a kit for one of those Acoustic 360 kits, but my email got bounced back to me. Does anybody know what jc's email address is, or a way to get in touch with him?  Sometimes my internet provider does some weird stuff, so I might just try re-sending the email....

Greg, let us know how the build goes - that is on my 'short list' of pedals to build... Charlie's soundclips just sounds so FAT..

Hi there.

Through searching for info on the Acoustic 360 preamp, I happened across this forum. Nice.

Anyway, I'd love to order one of these kits. If anyone has any success contacting JC Maillet and ordering one, please PM me. Or if JC Maillet sees this, please PM me or email me. Thanks very much.

I ordered a kit from JC. Great guy, very helpful! You can find his email at the bottom of his page. He's made some adjustments to the original kit, and if you browse the archives there are a even a few people that have posted alternative pcb layouts. This pedal is very nice sounding!

What's included in the kit?
let us know when you get it!  I have a piece of copper clad that I was going to use for Moose's mini-layout that he did.

When I ordered mine, I received a 20-page descriptive booklet, all resistors & caps, the switch for the variamp effect, NE5532 opamps & sockets, an LED, and a voltage regulator with some electrolytics (he has recently updated the schematics for 9V operation), and one circuit board. I ended up buying a surplus 24V regulated supply, having run out of space in my box, and it never cleaned up enough. Here's a picture:

I used a 3PDT for the clean/fuzz switch and a dual color led, so it changes between green and red. The values for the freq. on the variamp I got from a sheet I found at http://www.acoustic360.com/ I'm sure those aren't the EXACT values for mine, but I thought it would look cool. Gotta thank JC and Moose for their inspiration/assistance, as well as others, and this forum, of course!

Thanks for the help, guys. I've emailed JC, and hopefully he gets it and can ship to the UK.

sverige_cruz, that picture of your build is great, really tidy.
