sparkle drive problem: no sound when bypass is engaged

hello there,  i have a voodoo labs sparkle drive that has no sound when in bypass mode. i replaced the dpdt switch but no luck --same thing. voodoo labs bills their pedals as true bypass, but since it only has a dpdt and has an led there must be a transistor or ic involved here with the bypass mode that has failed.  does anyone have a schematic or have any experience with these and which part or parts might be involved?  thanks to all for any help.      rh

PS I have a Zoom TM-01 Tri-Metal, the add says True Bypass, but this turned out to be True Bullsh*t.
