And to finish my project, some parts bins that I purchased at Lowe's today. Most of what I commonly use fits in these three parts bins.
Ahh.. now I will have some real fun!

BTW,  I've always been very neat. I can be very actively building stuff and still keep things neat. I HATE it when I can't find something!

Maybe I'm a control freak?!? Get in there you resistor! ha ha ha ha

I actually do clean up between projects. When I start my area looks a tiny bit more like your area  No nifty scope and stuff though. I'm not sure I will ever get to the point I will need one. I would like to have a dedicated work area at some point as I would like to make a small tube amp. Once I start dealing with those kind of voltages I want to be pretty organized. I might even wear pants

BTW- If this is what you were able to do without a dedicated work area:

you are going to be downright scary now!

Downright scary, huh? You bet!!
Actually, I want to concentrate on some of my own ideas right now, so I'll be using my prototyping board a lot more.

When I'm in the middle of a project, my work area doesn't look that much different than yours - well, maybe a little neater.

I'm sure I'll still use the floor for drilling enclosures and stuff.
