i was planning on building a true bypass box for some of my tone sucking effects and noticed the loooper brand bypass boxes have the option of a blend knob. could someone post a diagram (can't read schematics) of a true bypass box with a blend knob and no led.
thanks

If you want true bypass and not give up what that's about, a passive blend is not going to be a very good option. A simple active version can be botched up with a single dual opamp though. Bypass when "on" with the blend knob set to max bypass won't be TB but it will work best with the other signal in all blend settings. Make the damn thing TB just for that, or if you want really hi-fi sound just take it out ;)
Just hook up the first opamp as a 1:1 buffer, split the signal into straight and "send" and combine "return" and straight to both ends of a 10k linear pot ("blend"), into the second opamp is one way to do it.
