Tranny's for Big Muff?

Can anyone suggest what transitors from small bear I could use in the Big Muff?  The ones suggested in the schematic aren't avalible there.  I'm going to socket it up and swap away but I could use a good place to start.

Hi there,

Just about any NPN Si transistor will work well I'm sure.  2N5088 or 2N5089's or BC549C's would be perfect.

I used 5089's and sounds great..Though some say the 5088's sound better..Personal choice..I say buy all types and give em a try..This is all for fun anyway.
