Switch question

I was wondering if it is possible to have a DPDT switch with an LED, battery snap and a DC jack? I don't have much room for a battery, so I can't use a 3PDT. If so, how is it wired? I'm only using one side of the lugs on the switch, I assume this is wrong because it does not seem to work.
