Is that all you can think about?  "Get your hand off it, Darrel!!"
Sheesh!

I'm talking about your pedal boards!  Mine is a modest 11 pedals, but with custom-built power supply that has eleven separate windings on one BIG transformer.

Still, it's rare to see a bass player with so many pedals, don't ya think?

A friends board is edging 6 feet wide and it's three pedals deep.  Freakin' monster!  Heavy as all-get-out.  From memory it's around 20 pedals plus three A/B boxes and built-in custom power supply.

Now, I know we all have big collections of pedals lurking in our cupboards, but I'm only interested in the ones that get regular use or have long term leased space on your pedal board.

So who has the most indulgent pedal board in our little community?

Are we talking inches or centimeters here ?

Seems like the average size is 5 - 8.

Reasearch has shown that self reporting on size is usually about 20% high.

Wah, octave, distortion, flanger, delay... I've got a little bit of everything. Now I need a little bit more of everything!

I voted 1-4, but then I didnt count the stagetuner as an FX....otherwise it'd be 5
Boss-tuner, moded Boss SD-1, Crybaby, rotovibe, moded Boss DD-3..

DON'T PANIC

bwanasonic

Wah, Compressor, Phasor, Rangemaster, Octavia, Fuzz Face, Mosfet Boost, volume pedal in front; Analog Delay, Tremelo and looping Digital Delay in FX loop. I often just take comp, RM, and Mosfet for practice.

Kerry M

Hal

wah, chorus, phase, fuzz, DS-1, Metal Zone...and my amp channel switcher.

william

I use only three, noise gate, An envelope filter (DOD-440 or DOD FX-25) in the loop of the noisegate, and although its not on the floor, a delay pedal in my amps effects loop.  I'm trying to get my wah working but the thing's been a piece since before I purchased it......

Transmogrifox

Custom Jobs:

TFOX COMP BOX (compressor/noise gate)
Dr. Quack (still on breadboard, but I gig with it)
Blue Zebu
Sample/Hold (still on breadboard)

Modded pedal:
Vox V810 made creamy with a TLC272 and interesting diode arrangment +tone mods

Normal commercial:

Crybaby Wah.
Digitech RP20

That makes 7 currently in use

but I have some dismembered pedals that I hope to finish modding and put to regular use:

DOD Death Metal
DOD Ice Box (noisy, need to fix)
DOD American Metal (I don't care what people say, I really like this distortion)
Turbo RAT
BMP (Old noisy thing, original in military green box with russian lettering)
Danelectro Fab Tone (don't know if this can be helped much, I've tried)

dont' have an acutal board right now. but the ones i am gonig to add to my board  (wheni get around to making one in the wood shop) are the ones i am playing with now.

Mosfet boost pedal clone i can't say name of or i will be strung up
flatline clone
Penguin Love----------------Expression mod
Obsidian (old version. haven't get the pmos yet)
my trem
Boss ce-2 (some of the filtering changed, no fet switching anymore)
my sampler
Broken tape delay (right now)

open slots for my wah which i am fine tuning. as i use that alot.

and for a rotation of delay or reverb as i am finicky on which one to use.

all together i guess that would be 10.  but i have different setups for different things..

right now my acid rain is on loan as well as my other boost pedal.

the clean boost is set up for a little dirt in the boost.        the compressor is for when i need some extra sustain.

penguin lets me dial in the gain and output volume with my foot so it goes from blues to straight ahead hard rock. use with compressor to get long lead lines

the obsidian is for straight up hard rocking stuff.
specially when i get into Vai mode

Trem is hardly used but is fun none the less

ce2 i use on mulitlpe things. i am working on adding a foot mod to it too. so it gets deeper and warblyier as you depress it..

sampler is for harmonizing or playing with my self..(feel free to jump in tere and poke fun at me i left myself opne for that one)

right now i broke the expression pedal for the tape delay so it is stuck on high speed

WGTP

If setting on top the amp counts, I only use distortion.  Mutant Muff, Black Fire, Sweet 16, Mutant ToneBender, Modded Rat, Mutant Hot Tubes, Black Fire/Srpp Hybrid, or Boss OS-2  I don't use all at once.   8)
Stomping Out Sparks & Flames

jimmy

update!!! i just remembered i broke an MXR Dist + so ill stick a fuzz in there and give my brother his pedal back. hurrah!

and im working on a delay.

cheers

vdm

right now there's no board - but the effects i gig with are:

3leggeddog (used as a distortion booster)
mxr dist +
delay (on amp w/ footswitch)
amp channel selecter
korg multifx in fx loop of amp

... and if i'm feeling adventurous i'll mic up my 2watt little gem and slam it with the dist+ which gives great lofi noisey kind of sounds.

on the way is a bluebox, big muff, and a pulsar (when i get around to it).

rawk on dudes!
