I stumbled on another magazine clipping from about 10 years ago, this time a valve (for viewers in America that's "tube") amp project. Comes in 3 parts and 19 pages, my poor, dying scanner is not pleased at having had to do all that.

Part 1 - background and some Valve (tube) theory.

Part 2 - the schems and detailed "how it works" descriptions

http://www.ruinbird.com/electro/paleface_pt_2.zip (1.1Meg)

Part 3 - Construction, PCBs and wiring

I'll leave all this up for a week or so but my server's bandwidth is coming close to being exhausted so grab them while you can and somebody else please host them so everyone can have a look.

edit: removed the images as the few people who were interested seemed to go fot the zips anyway. Grab the zips while you can if interested they'll be gone when I get home from work on Wednesday!

cool thanks man i got it dwonloaded i can email it out for people if you bandwidth dies

Thanks Ansil, judging by the small number of downloads you'll hardly be inundated with requests.

There's a resistive load thing by the same authour to scan as well, I'll get that posted soon.

Looks good! Does the article have pcb trasnfer files (couldn;t find any) or is it one of those magazine where you buy their project pcbs & parts?

The article is about 10 years old I'd guess. They used to have the copper traces at the back of the magazine but there is no sign of those pages with the lot I scanned.

I have a vague memory of the board images from one month having to be carried over to the next month due to lack space sometimes. That might have happened with this project and I just didn't buy that issue.

Best you can do is to reverse and edit the images on pt_3_p33 and p35.
