I already have Sonic Distortion and I'm thinking of building another
one. I want a new one that is completely different in sound than Sonic.
More heavier, fatter and has this finer sound (more contour).
I dont want one that is only a bit different than Sonic.

As I've said I want it completely different!  hehe

Any suggestion?

Much different than Sonic Distortion. Much tighter & adjustable Bass sound & very Heavy.

Got any pcb layout? I may have already built
6 FX but they are all from Tonepads or GeneralGuitarGadget
which is fairly easy for a newbie. :)

thanks!!

Don't have a PCB layout as yet. Working on it, though it's hard to get done with so many interesting projects out there to build. I put the prototype on perf. If you use the Radio Shack medium size perf with the 2 rails down the center on which you can put the 9v & 4.5v supplies on it's not too hard.

If you want a blackfire pcb layout, there is one at brett's site,

http://www.members.optusnet.com.au/~jethro.dog/gallery.html

and i have made one as well, but mine is quite "tight" (pm me if you want it).

Both are for the transistor version.
Cut it large, and smash it into place with a hammer.
