I'm doing a project that requries some inductors but I'm needing to convert some values.

1.000H   1000uH
0.390H   0390uH
0.220H   0220uH
0.068H   0068uH
0.033H   0033uH
0.068H   0068uH

Thanks

Your off by 1000...
1 anything = 1,000 milli anything = 1,000,000 micro anything = 1,000,000,000 nano anything = 1,000,000,000,000 pico anything = 1,000,000,000,000,000 femto anything.

EDIT
m = milli
u = micro
n = nano
p = pico
f = femto

I didn't know there was a prefix smaller than pico :mrgreen:

sir_modulus

well... I think he means milli henries, as it is an easier value to work with/find in this case. Yes, you have converted them right, just put mh, no uh as the suffix.

smoguzbenjamin

But uH means microHenry, which isn't milli at all. Replace those u's with m's and you're OK ;)

Peter, do you know the code for inserting "mu" There was a post way back but....

My concern is I need a 1H inductor for a project, and I see mouser offers 1000uH.

Peter Snowberg

Unfortunatly, Mouser is not a very good place for big inductors.

Jason, here are some other ALT-codes. The only problem with these is that they may not be very universal across fonts, browsers, and platforms.

171 ½ (1/2) <- in case they don't display
172 ¼ (1/4)
234 Ω (Ohm)
236 ∞ (infinity)
248 ° (degrees)

Take care,
