Over at fuzz central,  Phillip has a Maestro FZ-1A fuzz schem. It calls for 2n2613 transistors. I'm assuming these are Germanium? Are these hard to find? Any good, inexpensive subs? How about silicone? How does this fuzz sound? Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: I want a small battery fuzz. I'd really like to run one off of a AAA battery.
