So far, this is the prefferred setup for 'amping up' the Dyna ST power tube amp.
Long ago it had a tube matching tube preamp.
I've tried every type of booster, dual Mosfet etc.
Now I'm liking the driving capability of this Dual Microamp setup. I still using the Dual Mosfet for the tone, don't really need the drive from it, but it seems to 'texture'' the high end nicely.
Anyway, that dual Microamp has mega output, and works great!!! Gets the volume up nicely, better than anything I've tried so far.
I added clipping socket section also, to the output, but haven't experimented with diodes there yet.
I built the first one, it worked, but the second one in series is what really did the trick. They're both in a non bypassed box, as they're mostly to be used for beefing the input of the output amp.
Convention creates following, following creates convention.
