OT: More PHP Help

Okay guys, I'm starting to like PHP.  What I want to do now is to create a single html "template" and then, using PHP, take images from all over the website and display them inside this html template.  This would eliminate the need for a seperate html files for each image.  I know this script exists somewhere, but I can't find it to save my life!

The full-size images on my site are accessed by clicking small thumbnail versions.
