sound/tone of blackfire

just completed it
tried all i can to rectify the hisses, hum, noise

found out that if i were to lower the vol control on my guitar low enough and bum up the vol of the amp
it doesnt hum that badly
but it suffers in sustain


and realise that it sounds like the overdrive i had in my 15watt amp
is that how it should sound like?

my amp is a marshall mg15cdr
