BSIAB 2 gain level

hello !

just finished this and man does it sound good !! just listening to the harmonics....is enough to make me go..."ooooOOOohhh"

anyway, i was listening to the GGG soundclip, and i realised that mine sounds rather distorted at the lowest gain setting (right after being soundless). could this be because i used a 82k resistor between the wiper and CCW of the gain pot to "simulate" a log pot ?

or is just that i have a particular set of resistors which has a slight lean towards 1 side of its tolerance ?

Figure out how to change the resistance to get what you want to try, and see if that does it. I can't find my BSIAB, I thought it was sitting right there waiting for the  J201's ... DAFT.
